Paw Pantry is a pet-shopping and supply-planning service operated by Jessica Chudnovsky. This policy describes the information used by our public Muse connector, website, and separate private owner workspace.
Paw Pantry has no standalone user-account signup, payment collection, or scheduled-reminder service. Avoid entering sensitive information about people in pet notes.
The public Muse connector uses the shopping query and filters in the current request to rank catalog matches. It uses refill amounts and dates only to return the requested calculation. The separate private owner workspace uses its stored pet and supply records to maintain profiles and calculate run-out estimates. We use support messages to respond to questions and operational logs to diagnose problems. We do not sell your personal information.
The application is hosted on Render, and private owner-workspace records are stored in Neon Postgres. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. The private workspace uses one owner-controlled API key and is not open for public pet-profile registration.
If you interact through Muse, Muse also processes your conversation under its own privacy policy. Muse receives a separate connector credential that can call only stateless product-search, shopping-option, retailer-link, and refill-estimate operations. It cannot call Paw Pantry’s stored pet or supply endpoints. Shopping queries and filters are handled for the current request; refill inputs are calculated without being saved to a Paw Pantry pet profile or supply record.
When semantic catalog matching is enabled, Paw Pantry sends the shopping query you submit to OpenAI to create a numerical text embedding and rank catalog matches. This step does not send stored pet profiles or supply records. Matching falls back to local processing if the service is unavailable. Avoid including sensitive information about people in shopping queries.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Clicking an affiliate link sends you to a retailer, which may use cookies and referral identifiers under its own policies. Retailers handle product availability, checkout, payment, shipping, and returns. Paw Pantry does not receive your payment-card details. We do not put pet names, allergies, or notes in affiliate tracking identifiers.
The private workspace owner can view, edit, and delete pet records using the authenticated service. For help or a deletion request, email hellopawpantry@gmail.com. We may need to verify your authority over the records before sharing or changing them. We aim to handle deletion requests within 30 days.
Pet and supply records remain in the database until deleted or the service is discontinued. Redeploying the website does not erase them. Backup copies and operational logs may remain for the service providers’ retention periods. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations.
The service is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We will post policy changes here and update the date above.
